The great thing about Memory Pools is that you don’t need to be sat at a computer to add your memories. You don’t even need to be logged into your Memory Pools account. You can use a phone or PDA to text or email memories wherever you are!
Whether it’s a picture, video or piece of text, it will instantly appear in your child’s timeline. And the great thing about doing this is that you can capture memories as they happen, so you don’t forget. Here’s how to do it:
Emailing memories

When you signed up we gave you a unique email address to use. You’ll find it in the email we first sent you but you can also find it by logging in to Memory Pools and clicking the ‘Settings’ tab at the top of the page. To email a memory in, simply send an email to that unique email address. Once sent it will instantly appear in your child’s timeline.
Using SMS texts to send in memories

If you haven’t already you need to connect your mobile phone to Memory Pools
- Login and click ‘Settings’ then ‘My details’ and then ‘Mobile details’
- Add your phone number and then click ‘Send’
- You’ll then receive a text message giving you a verification code
- Enter that into the "verification code" box on the same page
- Click "Update"
- Your mobile is connected!
All you’ll need to do then is text memories to 07786 201 978. Have fun! Remember if you ever forget your text number you can find it by clicking on ‘Settings’ at the top of the page.
You will only be charged your standard network rate for text messages. Memory Pools do not make any money from your texts.
